Manifest

The agility of a sailboat combined with the effectiveness of a battleship.

[ 1 ] THE INTUITION

It was only the intuition, the bet that the world could become other, different from what it was, that drove humanity to evolve over the centuries. Yet those who first pointed to new and better possible worlds have always been called deluded, dreamers or, just as well, utopians.

[ 2 ] Utopia

Utopia is the island where a part of humanity has retreated to live: it does not approve of the selfishness, greed and violence now dominant on the entire planet. Here, however, people coexist in peace, free and respectful of each other’s freedom, in perfect harmony. Everyone works for what they can do and shares the fruits of their labor with those who wish to do so. In leisure time, the arts are taken care of: music, literature. We help each other, because no one should be left behind or feel marginalized. Guiding this community are culture and philosophy, so every decision is enlightened.

[ 3 ] The place that is not there.

It is an ideal society, the one envisioned in the 16th century by the English humanist Thomas More. However, there are still those who seek it out, those who believe in its usefulness. The term “utopia,” it is true, means “the place that is not there” in Greek; but wise and courageous individuals know what it means: the place that is not there yet, soon will be.

[ 4 ] The inhabitants

The Club is an island in the making but already populated, teeming with life. 720 people live there, belonging to 24 Italian companies with an international scope who have decided to revolutionize, together, the style of doing business in professional services. They rebelled against the global commandment that “small,” in economics, is no longer “beautiful” but destined to disappear or be distorted.

[ 5 ] The project

This project is doubly social: members help each other internally, enacting a kind of mutualistic solidarity; companies one by one and the Club as a whole act toward the outside world following an altruistic inspiration.

[ 6 ] The will

The Club was born out of a desire to put welfare before profit, in the belief that welfare should generate profit rather than being merely a side effect of it. Far from marginal, the gain is more ethical and rewarding if it comes from conditions of happiness assured to each person along the consulting supply chain: from Club Members and collaborators to their Business Partners and Clients, to Clients’ Clients, to the End User.

[ 7 ] People at the center

The Club, claiming the centrality of the human being, sets out with its vision and mission to affirm a sustainable (including for future generations) and democratized model of counseling that starts from listening to the other person and arrives at the service offered, reversing the usual dynamic.

[ 8 ] Intangible wealth

Thus, it is not someone’s immediate economic advantage that is the driving force behind the Club, but rather the unanimous sharing of rules that stem from principles such as loyalty, trust, and gratitude. Intangible wealth, which is also the founding core of the Club, and is enshrined in a charter of values connected to its own specific non-financial performance indicators. The company is worth more than the dry numerical counts emerging from an income statement: it is (also) its layered knowledge, what it believes in and strives for, the story it writes day by day. His people.

[ 9 ] The evolved autonomy

The idea behind the Club’s operation is more sophisticated than the well-known proverb “unity is strength.” Here we are talking about an evolved, democratic form of autonomy, under which each participating company is respected and valued in its unique identity, and in addition, allied with all the others, has the authority of a large organization in moving. The Club vouches to its companies for the best of two entrepreneurial paradigms hitherto considered antithetical, on the one hand the extreme “artisanal” quality of the product, on the other the propulsive power to plough through turbulent markets. The agility of a sailboat combined with the effectiveness of a battleship.

[ 10 ] The organization

To achieve this ambitious result, the Club, also through business partners, provides its companies with certain services, typical and essential of a highly organized structure: strategic rethinking of the company; more refined talent management and human resources governance; a professional communication mode; new strategic-commercial vision and related support; harmonized group-wide budget and attention to economic management; facilitated access to ordinary and extraordinary financial resources; legal and tax expertise; pooling of relationships established with Bodies and Institutions; availability of companies’ offices, wherever located, for Club people; foundation of a unique training Academy; creation of a private social network for internal communication and a sharing platform, a treasure chest of the methodologies, projects carried out, and best practices of each member.

[ 11 ] The "workshops"

The entrepreneur is free to continue to be a technician, to cultivate a very specific core business, and to carefully manage his employees: to let his “boutique,” a Renaissance-style workshop of which he is justly proud, shine. Meanwhile, his company, benefited by the Club’s inter-company and supra-company support, can grow according to a scalability otherwise precluded to smaller entities.

[ 12 ] Cooperation

In a cooperative sense, the Club helps to overcome the distrust into which the entrepreneur sometimes plunges in the loneliness of command and onerous responsibilities he is forced to assume, accompanying him on a path of Good Governance. The Club is therefore greater than the mere sum of its parts, and this addition strengthens the shoulders of each participant, reducing the burden of risk for all. To succeed where others have failed is the stimulus that animates not only the economy but the very life of humans, of those, at least, who refuse to accept the conditions given by the context because they prefer to mold one to their own measure.

A different and innovative world is possible; imagining it is the first step in building it. The place that did not yet exist, Utopia, already exists.
